Furthering its commitment to champion better work and working across the Middle East, the CIPD is announcing the second edition of the CIPD Middle East People Conference & Awards, taking place in Dubai on 2 - 3 September 2020. Entries for the Awards are now open. 

Held as part of the CIPD Middle East People Conference & Awards, the Awards recognise individuals, teams and organisations for their outstanding achievements in people management and development. In the inaugural edition, ADNOC, RAKBANK, Kerzner International and Abu Dhabi Police emerged as big winners.

“With over 80 entries from some of the region’s most innovative employers and people functions and 160 attendees on each day, the response to our inaugural Awards has been overwhelming. This year, I would like to challenge you to nominate bold, innovative and impactful initiatives. We are looking forward to seeing more organisations submit their work, and to celebrating your achievements”, comments Ramy Bayyour, General Manager for the Middle East at CIPD.

The Awards span across 13 categories. New categories include:

  • People-focused CEO of the Year
  • Employer of the Year 
  • Best Start-up Team Management Initiative 
  • Best Coaching & Mentoring Initiative 
  • Outstanding CIPD Student of the Year

The CIPD Middle East People Awards follow a rigorous and impartial process. Across all categories, and in line with CIPD’s new Profession Map, which sets the international benchmark for the people profession, the judges will be looking for entrants to demonstrate that their work is evidence-based, outcomes-driven and principles-led.

Nominations’ deadline is 15 February 2020. Entries are free of charge until 20 December 2019.
