Get the most from your membership by ensuring your profile and preference settings are up to date
Having a CIPD web account will give you access to all CIPD resources across our websites. As part of our membership offering, we provide members with exclusive access to a number of resources online that require users to be logged in. Whenever you visit the CIPD website we recommend that you log in and tick the 'Keep me logged in' box. In doing so, you will receive the best digital experience on our websites as you will be able to seamlessly move around our different sites. All content will be directly accessible to you without hitting any gating or further prompts to log in.
Registering for a web account
If you don't have a CIPD web account, you can set up an account here using your membership number, date of birth and postcode (UK only). However, please make sure that you have never set up an account before (or no one has done so on your behalf) as registering multiple accounts with different email addresses will cause access problems down the line.
Resetting your email address
If you have a web account, but you have changed or forgotten the email address you used, please call us on +44 (0)20 8612 6248 or email email@example.com so we can quickly resolve the issue for you.
Issues with accessing member-gated resources
You need to be logged in to access member-gated content on our website. If you appear to be logged in but you still can't access member-gated content, it is possible that you are logged in on a ‘Guest account’ rather than an account that has your Membership record. Alternatively, it may be that your membership fees are not up to date. In either case, please contact Website Support on +44 (0) 208 612 6208 so we can advise further.
