Course overview

An effective trainer needs to be at the forefront of design and delivery. This highly practical and interactive course covers the wide range of skills, knowledge and behaviours that you, as an L&D practitioner, need to design and deliver impactful learning and development interventions. Although the focus is on face-to-face design and delivery, some principles of digital online design and delivery will also be touched upon.

This course comprises of three components:

  • Ahead of the course: you will be sent reading material and exercises to complete in order to set the context for the programme
  • During the course: an interactive and informative “train the trainer” face-to-face intervention will take place
  • After the course: you will be invited to join a two-hour webinar that allows you to discuss your transfer of learning, share your feedback, successes and next steps

  • Define clearly measurable learning objectives that support a wider evaluation process
  • Design effective learning and development interventions that stick
